ROLF VON ROSENTHAL is a dreamboy with a very pleasant disposition.  His beautiful face and shiny, healthy coat are a true reflection of the sweet and gentle spirit within.  He is very happy-go-lucky around other dogs and very people-friendly as well.  He knows and obeys commands - sit, down, and stay - and will offer his paw when prompted.  When he first saw his rescue volunteer at the shelter, his ears perked up, and he immediately sprang to his feet, as if he knew it was his lucky day.  He very gently took the treats from the volunteer, using only his tongue, being careful not to allow his teeth to touch her hands.  He confidently held his head high and wagged his tail while walking, paying no mind to all the other dogs who barked loudly at him all the way down the long corridor and out to the car.  As soon as the car door opened, he sailed right up and into the crate, as if he knew all along his golden chariot would arrive and whisk him away from this place.  Rolf is a very happy boy, and we know he will make a wonderful, loving, and loyal addition to any family.
